Alphawood Gallery is proud to present gallery tours in American Sign Language (ASL) of Then They Came for Me. The tour will be led by Jonathan Sondergeld, who has also led ASL tours at the Art Institute of Chicago. Topics covered on the tour include racial inequality, social attitudes of hysteria, fear, and xenophobia in the 1940s, stories from the survivors of the incarceration, and what we must learn from this shameful period of time in American history in relation to current events.
